GRIFE Finnish Education and Global Perspectives Seminar Series XVII
We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming GRIFE Seminar Series XVII, titled " Teachers’ Perspective to Inclusive Education: Overview of 15 years of Research from Three Continents ”.
Dr. Malinen will give an overview of the 15 years of research he has conducted, together with his colleagues, to understand teachers’ attitudes, efficacy, and behavior related to inclusive education in Finland, East Asia, and South Africa. In the talk, Malinen will also share recent findings based on data from primary and lower-secondary schools in Finland. These finding empirically demonstrate the effect of teacher self-efficacy on classroom behavioral climate. Additionally, they also illustrate how the theory of planned behavior can be used to predicts teachers self-reported behavior in the context of inclusive education.
