EdUHK Representative Concludes Visit to Key Wuhan Universities

Dr. Ruoyi Qiu, a Senior Research Assistant at the Global Research Institute for Finnish, European, and Global South Education (GRIFE) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), completed a three-day promotional visit in Wuhan from October 29 to 31, 2025. During her stay, she visited Wuhan Business College (武漢商學院), Hubei University of Education (湖北第二師範學院), Hubei University of Technology (湖北工業大學), and Hankou University (漢口學院). She delivered presentations at Wuhan Business College and Hubei University of Technology, focusing on the theme "From China to Italy: Career Choices and Challenges for Studying Abroad." In her talks, she shared her overseas academic and professional experiences while actively promoting EdUHK's postgraduate programmes.

Her presentations emphasised the launch of the Master of Arts in Comparative Education and Collaborative Innovation (MA(CECI)). Dr. Qiu also showcased the diverse and future-oriented programme portfolios from the EdUHK's academy: The Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI). These interactive sessions provided a platform to illuminate EdUHK's pioneering approaches to education. Through face-to-face Q&A session, Dr. Qiu addressed students' specific queries, allowing her, on behalf of GRIFE, to clearly demonstrate how the MA(CECI) and other programmes are designed to equip students with practical global perspectives and the collaborative skills essential for success in the future workforce.

Dr. Qiu concluded, "Beyond recruitment, this tour was about building bridges. I am confident we will see talented, motivated students from Wuhan contributing to our academic community at EdUHK very soon." This productive visit strengthened EdUHK's academic presence in Wuhan and elevated the profile of its postgraduate offerings.
