EdUHK's GRIFE Strengthens Ties with Mainland China, Showcases Master's Programmes at Guangdong Neusoft Institute
A delegation from The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) conducted an outreach visit to Guangdong Neusoft Institute (GNI) on 15 October 2025. The event marked a significant step in GRIFE's mission to extend its academic influence and recruit top-tier talent for its postgraduate programmes.
The delegation included key members from the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI) and the Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures (AAPSEF). The collaborative effort underscored EdUHK's interdisciplinary approach to advancing global education.
The primary focus of the visit was to introduce students and faculty at GNI about the innovative Master's programmes offered by EdUHK. Dr. Ruoyi Qiu, Senior Research Assistant of GRIFE, a delivered a presentation highlighting Master of Arts in Comparative Education and Collaborative Innovation, MA(CECI). She detailed how the institute's master's curricula are designed to equip students with the skills to lead and innovate in a rapidly evolving global education landscape.
"This visit to Guangdong Neusoft Institute was an opportunity for GRIFE to connect directly with the bright minds who will shape the future of education," said Dr. Qiu Ruoyi. "We were impressed by the students' engagement and their forward-thinking questions.”
The visit provided a platform for in-depth interaction, featuring a comprehensive Q&A where students gained valuable insights into the application process, scholarship opportunities and EdUHK environment.
