GRIFE Finnish Education and Global Perspectives Seminar Series XXIV

GRIFE Finnish Education and Global Perspectives Seminar Series XXIV

We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming GRIFE Seminar Series XXIV, titled " The Role of Universities in Technology Transfer in Europe: Entrepreneurial Education, Incubators, and Accelerators”.

This seminar explores the role of Universities in stimulating entrepreneurship and promoting technology transfer in Europe. It examines how entrepreneurial education, together with incubators and accelerators, enables the transformation of research into market-ready innovations. Entrepreneurial education equips students and researchers with the skills to turn knowledge into innovation, fostering opportunity recognition and supporting effective technology transfer and venture creation. Incubators and accelerators play a key role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by providing mentorship, resources, and structured support to transform ideas into viable ventures, bridging the gap between research and market and accelerating commercialization. The seminar highlights how these interconnected elements foster collaboration across Triple Helix actors and contribute to economic development.
