GRIFE Finnish Education and Global Perspectives Seminar Series XXV

GRIFE Finnish Education and Global Perspectives Seminar Series XXV

We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming GRIFE Seminar Series XXV, titled " Finnish education: perspectives and practices”.

This session explores the world-class education and practical classroom application. By examining the Finnish Education Model—consistently ranked among the best in the world—this presentation aims to inspire educators for moving toward a more interactive, inquiry-based approach. The session has two main parts:

  • Finnish Education & Inspiration: An introduction of the Finnish education system, what makes it excel in student outcomes and well-being.
  • Practical Engagement: The session bridges theoretical frameworks of student engagement with hands-on application. Attendees will observe and discuss concrete examples of science learning that prioritize experiential discovery over listening absorption.

Concluding the session we will have an open forum for questions and collaborative discussion.
